Bay Voyager, has just launched San Francisco’s first “49 Mile” cruise and it debuts right along-side the San Francisco 49ers winning streak and race to the NFL Play-Offs. Bay Voyager is the only bay tour featuring the Navy Seals-type large passenger rigid inflatable boat (RIB), which can accommodate up to 12 people and speeds of up to 45 miles per hour.
The cruise spans 49 miles during the four hour tour and focuses on the highlights of the Bay, voyaging past the San Francisco downtown area, the Marina and North Beach from a waterfront excursion of California’s most historic city. Additionally, passengers will explore sites across the Bay, which include the Alameda-Oakland estuary, some of the most storied vessels in the Bay, four of the bay’s major bridges and two lighthouses as well.
